Installation

Preparation

A metal bracket is required for installation (not supplied).

Wiring Diagram

The unit uses one 10 amp ATC fuse located beside the wiringconnector. When replacing the fuse, ensure that the new fuse is ofthe correct type and amperage to avoid damaging the radio. Connectthe antenna to the antenna connector.

Operation

Control Locations

The XDM27BT receiver has various control locations that includepreset buttons, power/mute button, mode selector, tune/trackbuttons, volume knob, reset button, Bluetooth talk button,auxiliary input port, USB port, AS/PS button, display, and folderup/down buttons.

General Operation

  • To turn the unit on/off, press the power/mute button.
  • Press MODE to select between Radio, USB, Auxiliary Input, andBluetooth modes.
  • Adjust volume using the volume knob (00-40).
  • Press the mute button to silence the audio and press it againto resume listening at the previously selected volume.
  • To insert a 3.5mm cable in the unit's front AUX port, use anauxiliary input.
  • Press the reset button to reset the unit back to the factorysettings if abnormal operation occurs.
  • To set the clock, press DISP with the unit on and follow theinstructions on how to adjust the hours and minutes.
  • Press DISP to toggle display between various displayedinformation.
  • Press the volume knob momentarily to select between audiofunctions and hold it for more than two seconds to select betweenthe menu functions.

AM/FM Tuner Operation

  • Press TUNE or TUNE to seek to the previous or next strongstation.
  • Press and hold TUNE or TUNE to enter manual tuning mode, thenpress TUNE or TUNE momentarily to change radio frequency up or downone step at a time. Press and hold TUNE or TUNE to advancequickly.
  • Press BAND to select between FM1, FM2, FM3, AM1, and AM2 bands.Up to six presets can be programmed for each band, enabling up to18 FM stations and 12 AM stations to be stored in memory.
  • To store a station, select the desired band and station. Pressand hold the desired preset button (1-6) for more than two seconds.When stored, the preset number will appear in the display.
  • Preset stations can be recalled any time by pressing thecorresponding preset button.
  • Press and hold AS/PS for more than 2 seconds to store 18 FMstations and 12 AM stations automatically.
