Important!

  • The University of Toronto has upgraded its transcript storefront.
  • All students or alumni accessing the new storefront for the first time will be prompted to set up an account through Parchment, even if they have previously accessed the system using ACORN or through a self-created account.
  • Users with a self-created account will not be able access the system using their previous login credentials and must create a new account.

eTranscripts are the official transcript for the University of Toronto and are issued through the Parchment platform. It is the fastest and most secure way to send or receive an official University of Toronto transcript.

Current students and alumni with a UTORid should use ACORN by following these steps.

Step 1: Login to ACORN with your UTORid

Step 2: Review your academic record

Confirm that your academic record is up to date by reviewing your Complete Academic History, under the Academics tab in ACORN.

  • Your transcript will include your academic history, as shown in ACORN. If there is an issue with your academic record, contact yourdivisional registrar’s officebefore ordering your transcript.

Graduating Students: Records are updated in a batch by division/faculty after the convocation ceremony and cannot be updated individually. If you require proof of graduation, contact your divisional registrar’s office to obtain a letter of eligibility to graduate. Check your complete academic history in ACORN prior to ordering a transcript to ensure your degree information is present.

Step 3: Order your transcript

From the Transcript & Enrolment Confirmation menu, click on Order Transcript. You will then be redirected to the U of T Parchment Storefront to complete the order.

Step 4: Login to the U of T Parchment Storefront

The Parchment Storefront is the platform used to issue the official transcript of the University of Toronto.

1. Sign into the U of T Parchment Storefront.

  • Note: If you are accessing the new system for the first time, you will be prompted to set up your account.

2. Follow the instructions in the Parchment platform to complete an order.

  • Important: Check your order to confirm that you have the correct recipient. Transcripts sent to an incorrect email address or recipient cannot be redirected or refunded.

3. Pay the required $18 CAD per transcript.

  • The accepted methods of payment are Visa, Mastercard and AMEX.
  • Your credit card will be charged after the order is placed.

If you do not have a UTORid and cannot login to ACORN, you can create a user account directly on the University of Toronto Parchment Storefront. This process will add additional business days to your transcript order while your account is being validated.

  • School of Continuing Studies
  • Toronto School of Theology
  • Woodsworth College Pre-University Program (up to and including the 2000 Summer)

If you have taken courses or programs from one of these units, please contact them directly for a record of your studies.

Graduate students with both an undergraduate and graduate academic record can request either a complete transcript (all graduate and undergraduate academic activities) or a graduate study only transcript. If a graduate studies only transcript is requested, only the academic activities taken through the School of Graduate Studies will appear on the transcript (e.g., Masters, PhD); however, the registration history and graduation summary (found at the top of the transcript) will show all University of Toronto registration history and degrees.

The University of Toronto no longer produces paper transcripts. If an exceptional circ*mstance requires a paper transcript, please contact the University Registrar’s Office through the Service Portal in the ‘Get Help’ section. Select ‘Transcripts’ in the first drop down menu, then select ‘Paper requests’ in the second drop down menu. You must provide a valid reason (e.g., visa application), and submit documentation (e.g., screenshot, letter) to support why a paper transcript is necessary.

Paper transcripts will take an additional five business days to be processed, not including mailing. They will be delivered via Canada Post regular mail. Tracking is unavailable for mailed transcripts. The University Registrar’s Office is not responsible for transcripts not delivered or lost in transit by the postal service.

eTranscripts are typically processed and delivered within half an hour. Any transcripts containing academic activities prior to September of 1998 may add two or more business days to process.Transcripts placed on a restrictive hold (e.g., financial hold) will not be processed until the hold has been resolved by the student or alumnus.

eTranscript recipients have 30 calendar days to access the document using the secure download link provided in the email sent to the recipients from Parchment on behalf of the University of Toronto.

After 30 calendar days, the recipient will no longer have access to the document and the requester is required to place a new eTranscript order. No refund will be issued for the original eTranscript order.

Transcript orders on hold for identity validation will be cancelled after 14 calendar days. A refund will be issued.

Refunds for any unfulfilled orders will take 7 to 14 business days to process and will vary depending on the financial institution.

If you need further assistance:

If you have placed an order on the U of T Parchment Storefront, please note that the processing of your transcript order will be affected. Our team is actively working to resolve the issue and restore services as quickly as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your patience.
