What is the reputation of Slough? ›

Slough is a concrete urban planning eyesore and, to keep Windsor looking pretty, where all the factories in the area were placed. Its reputation isn't helped by John Betjeman's poem or the UK office being set there but I'd say they chose Slough because people knew it as an unloved place.
