Recently my brother bought a 1974 2630 John Deere tractor. He is trying couple his haybine hoses to it, but they don't seem to fit.
I told him that the tractor probably has some sort of John Deere hydraulic coupler that is not ISO standard.
I assume he could purchase some sort of adapter? I don't know much about John Deere tractors, but I think I'm right.

JD had their own coupling back then. I think you can get conversion kits to change to std type couplers (Pioneer) but if he is just going to run the haybine on that tractor would be easier to just get a couple JD ends. If you put some type adapter from JD to std on it makes the hose end heavier and may cause the coupler to fail

Pioneer 5060 Male Tips are interchangeable with John Deere #RE-11447 (1/2 NPTF), AR30210 & AR93819 (3/4 ORB). These male tips connect with John Deere AR47331 female bodies.

They sell adapters at tsc or any dealer, but if he's gonna keep the haybine, he might as well change the hose ends to the john deere style.

He is not going to change the tips because he has several other pieces of equipment that also have ISO tips on the hoses, plus he has two other tractors that also have ISO couplers.

Come to think of it, I don't know if he will be using anything else that hoses on it on this tractor, because he round bales with one of his other tractors. Maybe you are right about the tips. So what you are saying is that if he gets a couple of Pioneer 5060 male tips he should be good to go?

You can purchase adapters that convert john deere to iso(its a Quick disconnect). i purchased two from agri -supply for the same reason.

If your brother decides to change the tips in lieu of the adapter caution him to get the correct threads for his hoses. Normal threads for 2630 hoses are 3/4" ORB but some will be 1/2" NPT.
